Semarang, Mahkamah Agung (MA) telah memberikan pelayanan prima melalui digitalisasi peradilan. Salah satunya dengan kehadiran aplikasi e-Court yang memudahkan proses peradilan. Ketua Mahkamah Agung (MA) M Syarifuddin menuturkan, Mahkamah Agung meluncurkan aplikasi E-Court yang berjalan pada 4 fitur utama, yaitu e-Filing, e-Payment, e-Summons dan e-Litigation.

”Dengan layanan fitur tersebut, para pencari keadilan tidak perlu jauh-jauh datang ke pengadilan untuk mendaftarkan perkaranya, Cukup menggunakan HP atau komputer yang terhubung dengan jaringan internet, ‘Sehingga dari mana saja bisa mendaftarkan perkaranya ke pengadilan,” tuturnya saat memberikan Kuliah Umum di Fakultas Hukum Unnes, belum lama ini. 

Dikatakannya, hadirnya sistem peradilan elektronik (e-Court) ditujukan dapat mengurangi keluhan utama masyarakat atas pelayanan peradilan.

Seperti prosesnya yang rumit, waktu yang diperlukan sangat lama, dan biayanya mahal. Dalam sistem peradilan konvensional pertemuan antara aparatur peradilan dan para pencari keadilan tidak dapat dihindari. Sehingga terbuka lebar adanya peluang untuk terjadinya penyimpangan oleh aparatur peradilan

Syarifudin menjelaskan, proses digitalisasi sistem peradilan yang dimulai dari MA untuk menyesuaikan dengan perkembangan era teknologi.

Dengan berlandaskan Peraturan MA No 7 Tahun 2022 menjadi pijakan bagi MA sebagai leader sistem peradilan di Indonesia untuk melakukan digitalisasi perdadilan.

”Sistem peradilan elektronik ditujukan untuk memberikan pelayanan yang terbaik bagi masyarakat dan para pencari keadilan,”

‘Semakin cepat, mudah, dan murah proses peradilan dapat dijalankan, maka akan semakin terbuka akses keadilan bagi para pihak yang berperkara,” terangnya.

Sementara itu, Dekan FH Unnes Dr. Rodiyah mengatakan, tujuan diselenggarakannya kuliah umum ini sebagai bentuk dukungan dan apresiasi dari Fakultas Hukum Unnes terhadap perkembangan sistem peradilan di Indonesia.

Oleh karena itu diharapkan kuliah umum ini dapat menjadi sumber ilmu yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat pada umumnya dan civitas akademik FH Unnes pada khususnya.

Hadir pula Rektor Unnes, Prof Dr S Martono serta bertindak sebagai moderator adalah Dr Indah Sri Utari, yang menyorot tentang perkembangan hukum di Indonesia dari perspektif akademisi. ***
