Fakultas Hukum Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) mendapat kepercayaan dari Badan Perlindungan Pekerja Migran Indonesia (BP2MI) menyelenggarakan Verifikasi Dokumen Pendaftaran Calon Pekerja Migran Indonesia Penempatan Pemerintah (G to G) ke Korea Selatan sektor Manufatrur dan Sektor Perikanan. Kegiatan Verifikasi ini merupakan kegiatan rutin tahunan yang diselenggarakan oleh BP2MI dan HRD Korea.

UNNES sebagai salah satu Mitra BP2MI telah dipercaya sejak tahun 2018 (empat tahun) untuk menyelenggarakan Verifikasi Dokumen dan Skill Test Pendaftaran Calon Pekerja Migran Indonesia Penempatan Pemerintah (G to G) ke Korea Selatan.

“Terimakasih atas kepercayaan yang diberikan oleh BP2MI dan HRD Korea kepada UNNES. Kami siap mendukung kegiatan yang diselenggarakan bersama guna mempererat kerjasama dengan mitra UNNES,” kata Wakil Rektor Bidang Kemahasiswaan UNNES Dr Abdurrahman MPd.

Dr Abdurrahman menambahkan, kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat kepada kedua belah pihak.

“Bagi UNNES, dengan banyaknya mahasiswa yang dilibatkan sebagai petugas, diharapkan dapat menambah wawasan dan pengalaman bagi mahasiswa,” jelasnya.

Kepala BP2MI Benny Rhamdani mengatakan peluang menjadi Pekerja Migran Indonesia di luar negeri begitu besar.

Menurutnya, peluang dalam kompetisi persaingan global disebut BP2MI harus mampu dimanfaatkan dengan baik oleh lulusan perguruan tinggi.

“Untuk itu, kami BP2MI menggandeng beberapa perguruan tinggi sebagai mitra Pendaftaran Calon Pekerja Migran Indonesia Penempatan Pemerintah (G to G) ke Korea Selatan sektor Manufatrur dan Sektor Perikanan. Terimakasih untuk UNNES yang sudah memberikan tempat dan waktu sehingga Verifikasi Dokumen Pendaftaran Calon Pekerja Migran Indonesia Penempatan Pemerintah (G to G) ke Korea Selatan sektor Manufatrur dan Sektor Perikanan berjalan dengan lancar,” ungkapnya.

Benny Rhamdani menambahkan, penilai bahwa dipilihnya UNNES sebagai tempat pelaksanaan kegiatan verifikasi Dokumen Pendaftaran Calon Pekerja Migran Indonesia karena mempertimbangkan banyak hal salah satunya UNNES memenuhi kriteria ideal BP2MI.

“Selain itu tersedianya sarana dan fasilitas pendukung yaitu tempat yang memadai juga dipilihnya UNNES karena lingkungan dan pelayanan yang diberikan sudah sesuai dengan standar pelaksanaan kegiatan terutama sangat memperhatikan protokol kesehatan,” ungkapnya.

Sementara, Dekan Fakultas Hukum Dr Rodiyah mengatakan kerjasama dan kegiatan yang positif ini dapat memberi berkah dan manfaat bagi semua pihak.

“Semoga pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dapat diberikan kelancaran serta kesuksesan hingga akhir acara nanti dan semoga para Calon Pekerja Migran Indonesia dari berbagai daerah bisa lulus tahap berikutnya dan bisa diterima sebagai pekerja migran di Korea pada sektor manufaktur dan perikanan,” pungkasnya.

Kegiatan Verifikasi Dokumen Pendaftaran Calon Pekerja Migran Indonesia Penempatan Pemerintah (G to G) ke Korea Selatan sektor Manufatrur dan Sektor Perikanan dilaksanakan sejak tanggal 11 sampai dengan 16 April 2022 dengan jumlah peserta yang diverifikasi adalah 11.400 calon pekerja migran.
